Better than the regular bugaboo

We own a bugaboo frog and after 10 months have grown tired of taking it in and out of the car. We instead started to use the Maclaren Volo however, the Maclaren does not recline.

We recently got the Bee and LOVE it. It's far better than the Frog because:

1) folds/unfolds into once piece
2) sun cannopy has much better coverage
3) lie flat so baby can sleep
4) fits small/large children better
5) taller handlebar (great for me as I'm 6 foot 3).
6) more convenient underseat storage
7) is much easier to use inside stores and buildings. The frog can't even get into many stores in San Francisco, but the Bee goes in just fine.

It has similar features in that it can
1) have baby sitting forward or towards you
2) has most of the same accessories
3) also works with car seats

We wish they came out with this a year ago as we would not have gotten two strollers, but just this one.
Better then the Bugaboo Cameleon (believe it or not!)

If your looking and driving yourself crazy for the BEST stroller please look no more. I own the Bugaoo Cameleon and boy do I love love that stroller my child always took naps while I was shopping in that stroller smooth and comfortable. But couple problems 2 BIG wheels in the back and annoying to take apart and put together. Now I wanted the best of the best for my son so I opt for the biggest stroller I could find (while I was pregnant) it took me 13 months to realize hey my back still hurts and Im not even pregnant! It was the stroller. Having the Cameleon sure looked great but honestly going down the rows at Whole Foods Market or going to a popular breakfast cafe and fitting through the tables was tough. So I decided enough was enough. Now getting the bugaboo cameleon in and out of your trunk you have two pieces that are so annoying the seat and the frame. With the bugaboo bee one push and open :) Sure its lower to the ground and smaller but you know what, its practical. My son is 28lbs at 13 months and tall tall tall and he fits just fine. A little narrow for him in the beginning cause sure he's coming from the cameleon but after awhile he was just fine. The seat positions on the cameleon are exactly the same on the bee. Even the handle bar is the same. Even though the bee is lower you can still adjust the handle bar to your level. Now, the Cameleon seat is wider then the bee, but the Bugaboo bee seat does fall all the way flat when fully reclined which makes napping perfect.

I tried it out today hesitate if he was going to take his afternoon nap and he did!! The bee is very smooth, comfortable and worth every penny... And boy does it turn heads!! It is classy and nice. I pushed the bugaboo bee with one stroller while carrying my 28 pounder now thats impressive.

What it comes down to is this. You want the biggest and the best when you have your newborn and he or she deserves it. But when the months pass your like I love this stroller but how do I put this and so much more in my trunk without looking like it's gonna spill out. And why did I get the heaviest stroller when my diaper bag is just as heavy! And how do I travel with the heaviest stroller! Well look no more you can have the best of both worlds in the Bugaboo bee I promise!!
Compact and functional

We love our Bee. Not only has our infant used it from the beginning but we easily adjusted it for our three-year-old niece in a pinch. We've travelled internationally with it with no complaints. There was a small piece that holds the seat down that broke within two months of purchase. Bugaboo replaced it and knew about the problem. A minor thing for a new product.
Note: After 5 months of use, the fabric has begun to fade dramatically. Our bright red is not a little less bright. I don't care but you might!
BEWARE......PLEASE READ!!!!!!!

I need to tell everyone who is thinking about buying a bugaboo bee to STOP! The Bugaboo Bee Plus is coming out in March or April of 2010 and it is new and completely improved! The drawback, it costs 100 dollars more which is a little ridiculous. The regular bee has flaws and now they are all fixed in this one but that doesn't mean the price needs to be hiked up. Anyways, I am def waiting for this one, and can't wait. If you want all the info on it, go to [...] I hope this helps a lot of people!
Most convinient - very pleasantly surprised

I was not sure what to expect when I made the purchase online. I had seen it in a store and had liked it. But when it arrived, the packaging was compact, the assembly took all of 5 minutes and it was up and going in a few minutes.

My daughter loves it! I was also initially afraid that the canopy would be too small for any practical use - and I am pleasantly proved wrong. It is one of the best canopies available.

My wife is very petite and we wanted something she can load and unload from the car easily and fold and expand easily. This stroller has met all criteria!

Excellent buy..
